May the luck of the Irish be with ye! 🍀
I've not had much time to blog lately but I have been following my friends in blogland as much as possible. Thought I'd pop in and show you how perfectly fitting the cross-stitch project I'm working on is. Called There is Room by The Proper Stitcher, I've been meaning to stitch this one up for quite a long time. Decided the time was right -- right now!
I'm stitching this on 28ct Vintage Country Mocha 2 threads over 2. It should go fairly quickly since there's no changing thread colors.
I did a little applique recently too. I signed up for the year-long SAL with Made By Hand. I'm doing mine cotton on cotton.

I've also kept busy with my EPP project called Grandmother's Jewels. Pictures in my next post.
Hope you find a pot of gold at the end of your rainbow on this March 17th.

ReplyDeleteI did see your hearts and thought how clever. They will make a sweet quilt one day too. The applique SAL I'm involved in is Made By Hand with Dawn Heese (Linen Closet Designs) and Bonnie Sullivan (All Through the Night). Unfortunately for you, there is a very short window to sign up in January and then it is closed. Happy Easter!
DeleteAaw these are some lovely projects that you are working on Susie. Enjoy every minute of your stitching time.
ReplyDeleteThank you for the sweet words of encouragement. Happy Easter!
DeleteWhat a lovely stitchery to be working on Susie - I like the dark version too. And your applique heart is delightful. xx
ReplyDeleteThank you, Lin.
DeleteI love that cross-stitch design, Susie - and what a great saying to be stitching! Your applique block is a pretty one, too. Glad you've had time for some stitching!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Diane. My cross-stitch has really come along. Stay tuned for a post on that project.
