Yellow Ending

This was the last full week of yellow. April 1st starts a new month and that will mean a new color for Rainbow Scrap Challenge. We so appreciate Angela keeping this organized so we will have motivation to sew up our scraps by color each month. Here's what I accomplished this month.

Two Gem Tones blocks in yellow obviously. Here's a look at them with two of their "friends".

Although not on the RSC radar, I did get my units sewn up for the Itch'n to be Stitch'n mystery quilt. It works for this month since I'm using yellow scraps.

I'm off to for a sew day. I'll be sewing down binding and will share my finish before the month ends.

Have a great weekend!

    1. The yellow HSTs was the 3rd clue for the mystery quilt that I'm doing with my LQS. Guess we'll know what they'll become by the end of the year! I am looking forward to seeing what the clue for April is going to be. Sorry to be stringing you along but it's a 12-month project.

  2. You always have the prettiest blocks in the works for the RSC . Gem Stones is no exception. I admire all of the piecing that went into each block. Have a wonderful "sew day". Hugs

    1. Oh my goodness, yes, there is a lot of piecing on those Gem Stone blocks. Thankfully nothing too tricky! The hardest part is converting the normal cutting directions to the AccuQuilt dies. I've got quite a few "extra" pieces that I hope I can use in future clues! Yikes! I do not need more scraps! Hahaha!

    1. Diann, I really needed yesterday to play with my friends. Since I could only attend the one sewing day, I took along hand binding on the quilt I mentioned earlier. I finished it just about 30 minutes ago and it is in the wash right now. I hope it crinkles up nicely.

    1. I'm thinking they're playing nicely together too. Just like me yesterday with my friends at a sew day. Everything looks cheerier when playing with friends, doesn't it? *wink*
