Let's get this week's edition of I Like Thursday off to a great start with our prompt of the week: Do we buy/like physical calendars? Oh yes, I do! Every year for Christmas I get a new Family Calendar from my daughter-in-law. Each month has a specifically chosen picture or pictures for the month. We all look forward to seeing what the new month will bring!

| January's Calendar Boy! |
Speaking of my DIL, look what I received in the mail this week? A belated Christmas gift!

| Personalized Suncatcher! |
I like my Runkeeper app. It keeps track of my walking and each week I get a weekly recap. I even got a yearly one and I thought I did pretty good for getting out with Gracie this year.
Each morning when we get home from our walk, I feed my birds. I thought all these VERY red cardinals looked so pretty and really brightened up my dreary front yard.

Wow, such amazing photos of the sunrise!
ReplyDeleteI keep reminding my mother and hubby how pretty sunrise is but they prefer to stay snuggled in their beds. Hahaha! Thanks for the visit. I hope you're having a good weekend.
DeleteLook at those cardinals - so fun to see the red birds in the winter landscape! You caught some beautiful sunrises, too. I would say your calendar with grandkid photos on it is the gift that keeps on giving all year!
ReplyDeleteEvery year my DIL asks what I want for Christmas. I keep telling her to put together another wonderful calendar, please. Lol! We enjoy it all year long.
Deletelooks like you got all the snow we haven't had all winter, er whatever season you call 60's every day, in Colorado
ReplyDeleteThe we left Florida was because I didn't like the long summers -- Mar thru Oct. Uck! I'm sorry you're not getting the snow we had while we lived in CO, 1981 - 1986. Maybe the weather will swing back around again soon. In the meantime, keep enjoying your walks wearing a sweater. We're so bundled up here it isn't funny! Yesterday I walked Gracie and the feels like temp was -8 degrees. We haven't hit freezing for 10 straight days now. The snow is definitely going to be around a while! It takes forever to get ready to walk the poor dog. Lol!
